Founder, chemist and formulator Sean Abel revealed Derma Energy's new signature professional treatment, The 4 Pillar Process, during an exclusive full-day professional training event.
The treatment is a revolutionary hybrid that sits at the intersection of facial therapy and clinical peeling. Designed as an ongoing system of homecare and in-clinic treatments, the 4 Pillar Process is built to maximise long-term skin health rather than chase short-term correction.
Developed from Abel's proprietary equation to skin health, the treatment introduces a Skin Health Peel uniquely formulated to be used even on skin with a compromised barrier.
A New Peel Philosophy
At the core of the process is a dual-step approach utilising Polyhydroxy Acids (PHAs), next-generation exfoliating acids known for their gentleness, hydrating capacity and barrier compatibility.
Unlike traditional peels, this formulation is followed by the application of skin-mimetic carrier oils, allowing the peel to be massaged into the skin. Once applied, these oils help seal micro-fissures within the stratum corneum while enhancing active delivery, creating a world-first in professional peeling protocols.
